Acute Exposure
Definition:
A single exposure to a toxic substance, which results in severe biological harm or death. Acute exposures are usually characterized as lasting no longer than a day, as compared to longer, continuing exposure over a period of time.
Negligence
Definition:
Failure to use that degree of care, which an ordinary person of reasonable prudence would use under the given or similar circumstances
Acetic Acid
Definition:
A compound, which in the pure state is a colorless, pungent, biting liquid; vinegar contains 4 to 12 percent of acetic acid.
